Food and networking starting at 4:30 PM, programming from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with networking afterwards.
The Carbon X Change will bring together climate science, engineering, and business students and faculty from across the University of Washington to hear from David Heldebrant (PNNL) on his latest CO2-to-product research. Christian Metcalfe, a professor and former cleantech entrepreneur, will moderate a panel of founders and leaders to share their entrepreneurial journeys and amplify their missions. We’ll also include time for networking before and after the event.

WECAN is a new innovation cluster focused on Carbon Capture, Utilization, Sequestration, and Carbon Materials. Projects will include:
- Small business support services and trainings
- Toolkits to inform policy development
- A carbon purchasers alliance – MAGIC
